  6. pfe.exe                The Windows 3.1 executable
  7. pfe.hlp                The help file
  8. pfedos.exe             A support module that handles running compilers, etc
  9. pfedos.pif             The PIF file for this module

  11. ddetest.exe            A Visual Basic program for testing the DDE link
  12. printmap.exe           A diagnostic program that prints out saved key mapping

  18. You should place the first four files into the same directory, which should
  19. ideally be on your path. You needn't have the printmap.exe module on your
  20. hard disk, but you should keep it around in case you want to report a
  21. problem.

  23. If you set up your own key mappings, PFE will save them by default in files
  24. called pfe.key in your Windows directory. It will also set up an initialisation
  25. file called pfe.ini, also in your Windows directory.
